It was a wild week 2 of the NFL season. There were a lot of important, big name injuries, from Drew Brees to Ben Roethelisberger, to one team that actually had to cancel practice because it was so banged up.
There were actually some trades, a superstar trade request, and maybe the end of an era and start of a new era at the quarterback position in New York.
We’ll also discuss Team USA, we’ll gamble with Gus, we’ll get Fred Perdue’s College Pick’em analysis, and more!

California wants to give college athletes the ability to make money off of their likenesses. Of course, the NCAA doesn’t like that. It may not matter: if/when it becomes law, it’ll open the floodgates in every other state. And speaking of floodgates, is there any way to stem the tide of foreign teams smoking Team USA in basketball competitions?

With the Olympics approaching, the story thus far has been the guys who have decided not to show up. LeBron James, Steph Curry, and others took a pass on the 2016 team in Rio, but one player is more than a familiar face on the roster, Carmelo Anthony. He is the first American basketball player to participate in four Olympic games, and may shatter multiple USA records this time around. But, what does that mean for Melo's legacy?
