Devin was born to a sports fanatic of a father and it rubbed off on him at an extremely early age. He can recall sports moments from the late 70's and early 80's that many think he shouldn't even remember. In particular, he is a "die hard with a vengeance" Philly fan. He bleeds a mixture of Sixers, Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers colors, with a dash of the colors of every college team in that town. However through all of his allegiances, his #1 priority in debating sports is to remain objective AT ALL TIMES!...and if you know Devin, you know that he LOVES a good sports debate. He watches games analytically, not just for entertainment purposes, and in many cases feels that in a sports argument, he can make a better case for your point of view than you. This tends to rub people the wrong way, but his advice to those people who take sports debates personally is, "get your knowledge up and stop getting mad at me because you say silly stuff".

Devin excelled in sports as a young child, a teenager (varsity basketball letterman at Central High School in Philadelphia, PA…254!), and as a collegiate intramural athlete. He holds a bachelors degree in Marketing from Howard University in Washington, DC and an MBA from the University of Maryland University College in Adelphi/College Park, MD. Ever since graduating from college, he has been searching for a way to use his education and his love for sports to do something he loves. In 2002, he simultaneously planned to enter into a mentorship with a prominent sports agent and produce a public access sports talk television show. Both plans fell short but for Devin, the fight never ends. From 2003 to 2005, Devin coached varsity basketball and summer AAU ball at a charter high school in Washington, DC, until the school ultimately closed for financial reasons.

Devin's sports pet-peeves include: Bottom line…Devin is an absolute sports junkie, which is most evidenced by his monthly DirecTV bill and his 40 venue (and counting) national/personal stadium & arena tour. He gets around…and in every city he visits, a sporting event is a MUST! If anything in Devin's "scouting report" has offended you in any manner…GOOD!...Now maybe you will call into The War Room and challenge him. He is…the most interesting sports talk show host in the world. "Stay thirsty my friends."
