No Look Pass Podcast: (Episode 42) What is Carmelo Anthony’s Legacy?

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016

NLP

With the Olympics approaching, the story thus far has been the guys who have decided not to show up. LeBron James, Steph Curry, and others took a pass on the 2016 team in Rio, but one player is more than a familiar face on the roster, Carmelo Anthony. He is the first American basketball player to participate in four Olympic games, and may shatter multiple USA records this time around. But, what does that mean for Melo's legacy?

Also, do we consider James Harden "great"? And does Klay Thompson have to make sacrifices for the Warriors to succeed?

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, among the raucous Oakland crowd, pulled off an incredible Game Five performance to take the series back to Cleveland. The question is: did they expend everything they had doing so, and do they have enough in the tank to duplicate that at home in game six?

The Warriors have Draymond Green back in the lineup, but have lost Andrew Bogut for the rest of the series. Are they healthy enough to take back the momentum from the surging Cavaliers?
