No Look Pass Podcast: (Episode 40) Solving NBA Offseason Blues – Summer League and… WNBA?

Wednesday, July 20th, 2016

NLP

The NBA is officially in the off-season, with even free agency signings slowing down, and it is time to find other outlets for your hoops habits. Thankfully, the Summer League is in motion, and the 2016 Olympic Games will cushion the blow slightly. However, we are looking for a more permanent solution, and have tried to give the WNBA a look to see how it compares to the pro game, and ponder whether a "WNBA Select Team" could compete in the Summer League.

But then, it's back to the big leagues, as we discuss what exactly the Thunder should do with Russell Westbrook, and hit the trade machine to see if we can come up with some destinations for the superstar point guard.

The Mad Scientist’s Sports Lab – 7/9/16

TMSSLBlog

Welcome to "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab", the 2015 Online Media Award Winning Podcast by What A Fan, part of the War Room Sports Podcast Network, sponsored by DeWalt Brewing Company, and hosted by "The Mad Scientist of Sports" Nick Ficorelli and "The Nutty Professor" Andrew Gluchov. This is not the average everyday sports show they are bringing to the air waves. "The Mad Scientist" has created his own personal sports lab, and you, the audience, as well as many of his special guests, will be his test subjects. He will throw theories out, and you never know where they will be coming from. He will keep everyone guessing, and he will open his lab to any and all comers. Be prepared for "mad science" sports talk at its best.

This week on "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab", we will be continuing talking about NBA Free Agency as free agents have finally put ink to paper. The MLB All-Star rosters are out. Who is in and who is out? At the start, we welcome Russell Baxter to talk NFL during the dog days of summer. Nick and Andrew will be hitting the theories tonight discussing the NBA, MLB and more as we lead up to the Olympics.

The beacons are lit, the experiments are on the board, and the test subjects are at the ready. The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab is officially open for business.
